Quantum Architects was founded in 2012 with the primary goal of providing building owners and developers the most innovative performance-based architectural and engineering design services available in the industry.

Quantum Architects, LLC (QA) designs high performance buildings throughout North America by harnessing 21st century building science to deliver unparalleled efficiency, comfort and durability- all at competitive market costs. The firm’s goal is to provide its clients with the most innovative performance-based architectural and engineering solutions available in the industry. Adam Cohen, is a Certified Passivhaus Designer and a pioneer in the US Passive House movement. “Passivhaus” (Passive House US) is a design methodology and energy standard that champions super insulated, airtight new and renovated buildings that use 70-90% less energy than conventional new buildings.

Passivhaus buildings provide a high level of occupant comfort while using very little energy for heating and cooling. They are built with meticulous attention to detail and rigorous design and construction according to principles developed by the Passivhaus Institute in Germany, and can be certified through an exacting quality assurance process.

Quantum Architects is a full service architectural firm that specializes in creating new and renovated high performance Passivhaus facilities for its clients and other architectural firms.
